AWMA Nationals

Postby annecamper on Wed Sep 23, 2009 9:06 am

The AWMA Nationals are coming up soon, and we hope to have a good turn out of competitors and Malinois enthusiasts. The competition is open to IPO1, 2, and 3 competitors (no BH). This is the first year that the entry will be limited to FCI registered Malinois.

The host club is looking for trophy sponsors and volunteers to assist at the trial. If you would like to help out, please respond to the links on the event website: http://www.awmachampionship.com/.

It is also not too soon to make arrangements for your accomodations and travel.

The annual board meeting will also be held at the event. We would like a great turn-out, so consider selecting a delegate from your local clubs to attend the event and particpate in the meeting.

See you in December in Florida,

Correction to the above post. This year the entries will be limited to dogs listed as Belgian Malinois in their scorebook. From 2010 forward the entries will be limited to Maliniois with registration papers issued by an FCI-recognized registry.

If anyone is planning on going to Nationals and would like to split hotel or rental car, please let me know. I'll be flying into Tampa on the 2nd and am having problems finding a rental car that doesn't have a $15-25 underage rental fee per day. Trying to make this as cheap of a trip as possible!!!

Entries for the event close soon, so don't procrastinate! It will be great to see old friends and new and watch the best dogs in the US compete. Kari just told me that many things are in the works. The competitor bags are the best ever, etc. etc. So send in those entries and we'll see you in sunny Florida.
